The 30-second export
- In Seller Center, open Finances.
- Go to Statements (on some accounts it sits under Payouts).
- Set the date range to 90 days.
- Click Export. You'll get an Excel workbook (
.xlsx).
What's inside the workbook
The export is a single Excel workbook of five sheets. The one that matters most is Order details, with every settled order and adjustment on one row each, roughly 60 columns covering sales, shipping, fees, and adjustments.
The columns that carry the money
| Column | What it means |
|---|---|
Total settlement amount | What this row contributed to your payout. |
Net sales | Sales after seller discounts and refunds. |
Referral fee | TikTok's commission on the sale (category-based). |
Refund administration fee | 20% of the refunded referral fee, capped $5/SKU. |
Affiliate commission | Creator commission on affiliate orders. |
Adjustment amount / Adjustment reason | Reimbursements, clawbacks, corrections, each with a reason label. |
Related order ID | Ties an adjustment back to its original order, the key to matching a refund to its (missing) reimbursement. |
Notably, the settlement report carries financial columns only: order IDs, SKUs, amounts, dates, fee types. No customer names or addresses live here; that data is in a separate order export.
The one formula that proves it ties out
Before trusting any single number, confirm the whole statement reconciles. TikTok's own totals should satisfy:
Total settlement = Net sales + Shipping + Fees + Adjustments
If your computed total doesn't match the statement's stated total, something is unparsed or misattributed, and that gap is the first thing to chase. A trustworthy audit fails loudly here rather than quietly guessing; if the numbers don't tie, no finding on top of them can be trusted.
What to do with it next
Once you can read the workbook, you can check it for duplicate refund deductions, fee overcharges, unreturned commissions, and missing reimbursements. That's the eight-leak checklist. Or hand the file to an audit that runs all of it automatically.
